Financial System Engineer (80-100%, as of November 2026)
LEVA is building a cutting-edge software ecosystem for private markets, integrating essential services such as legal, financial, and tax accounting within a single operating system. Our mission is to improve the efficiency of the private markets which have not experienced innovation in the past 30 years and are still full of outdated processes. The venture capital industry is where we started, working with leading venture capital firms, family offices, asset management firms and emerging managers, but 2026 is a transformative year in which we have launched multiple new products to serve our customers better.
At LEVA we are building the tools for a new breed of investors that they need to fund the winners of tomorrow. If you are eager to be part of this change, join a fast-growing and innovative company and be part of the next growth phase.
A day in the life as the LEVA Financial System Engineer
As Financial System Engineer, you work together with the Product Architect's product direction and turn it into structured, tested, scalable product systems. You map complex financial and legal workflows and turn them into specifications and process flows precise enough to build from, then move fast from idea to working prototype so ideas get tested before engineering time is committed. You build the AI-driven workflows, the QA and evaluation loops, and the analytics that tell us whether what shipped works — and you get in front of customers yourself to implement, test and refine what you've built. You not only take care of client facing products but ensure that internal systems are scalable and new features and services increase client satisfaction. You make the Product Architect dramatically more effective by owning the system end to end, from domain knowledge and customer problems through to production.
As a Financial System Engineer you will:
- Map financial & legal workflows: You will translate complex financial, legal and market processes into workflows the team can build against. You will take ambiguous, real-world problems and shape them into structured, well-defined systems. You will understand the underlying mechanics rather than merely document the current process and identify where the workflow should be simplified, automated or redesigned.
- Own product specification: You will turn product ideas and domain knowledge into specifications precise enough to build, test and evaluate against. You will define states, rules, data requirements, permissions, controls, edge cases and failure modes so that the resulting behavior is unambiguous to Tech.
- Prototype fast: You will move from idea to testable prototype quickly, validating with customers and stakeholders before committing to full implementation. You will design and build AI-driven product workflows as a core part of the system. You will prove or disprove a product hypothesis quickly.
- Drive customer implementation & discovery: You will work directly with customers to implement, test and refine solution workflows for real world applications. You will distinguish customer specific requests from recurring product problems, feed structured insights back into Product team and help turn successful implementations into scalable product capabilities.
- Own product analytics: You will build the feedback loops and analytics that show how the product is used and where it breaks down. You will connect product usage, system behavior, customer feedback and business outcomes, using evidence to recommend what to improve, automate or stop.
- Own QA and evaluation: You will design realistic test cases and evaluation protocols for financial, legal and AI-driven workflows, including edge cases, failure modes, human control and production regression.
