Product Architect (80-100%, as of November 2026)
LEVA is building a cutting-edge software ecosystem for private markets, integrating essential services such as legal, financial, and tax accounting within a single operating system. Our mission is to improve the efficiency of the private markets which have not experienced innovation in the past 30 years and are still full of outdated processes. The venture capital industry is where we started, working with leading venture capital firms, family offices, asset management firms and emerging managers, but 2026 is a transformative year in which we have launched multiple new products to serve our customers better.
At LEVA we are building the tools for a new breed of investors that they need to fund the winners of tomorrow. If you are eager to be part of this change, join a fast-growing and innovative company and be part of the next growth phase.
A day in the life as the LEVA Product Architect
As Product Architect, you own what we build and why we build it — and, increasingly, you prototype or build it yourself. You are responsible for taking the product from market thesis through to production, translating financial, legal and market complexity into products and workflows that are genuinely simple to use. Together with the Financial System Engineer, you will constantly work to bring innovation on the market, unlocking the customer and business potential behind each feature. You shape the vision and turn it into a sequenced path of concrete bets, saying no early and clearly to anything that doesn't earn its place on the roadmap. This is a vision-executing role, not a backlog-administration or requirements-writing one. You understand the financial and legal domain deeply enough to reason about the product yourself and work closely with the Legal and Compliance departments, and you're hands-on and AI-native enough to build meaningful parts of the product yourself, not just brief engineering and hand off a ticket. You use AI as a core part of how your research, prototype, specify, test and build, not simply as a product feature. Most importantly, you're accountable end to end: you sit at the bridge between finance/legal, customers, product, engineering and AI, and you own whether what ships creates customer and business value.
You are not simply responsible for coordinating a product process. You are expected to understand the underlying financial and legal mechanics, challenge assumptions, make product decisions, prototype-solution and drive them into production.
As a Product Architect you will:
- Define product direction: You will set the product roadmap together with management and turn market thesis and services vision into a sequenced path of concrete, high-conviction bets with clear product outcomes and measurable customer and business impact.
- Own the product thesis: You will identify the highest-value customer and market problems to solve, decide what LEVA should build, buy, partner for or deliberately not build and maintain a coherent path from today’s product to the longer-term product architecture.
- Be accountable for financial & legal domain logic: You will hold the financial, legal and market complexity yourself, translating it into simple, coherent products and workflows. You will understand private market mechanics, financial instruments and securities, relevant regulatory constraints and KYC/AML/KYT as product flows, control and states
- Turn complex workflows into products: You will take messy, real-world financial and legal processes and shape them into simple, excellent product experiences. You will identify the underlying problem rather than simply digitizing the existing process and define the workflows, states, rules, permissions, expectations and controls required for the product to work reliably in production.
- Get hands-on technically: You will be fluent enough in code and modern AI tooling to prototype or build meaningful parts of the product yourself. You can read and write code, work directly with the codebase, create meaningful prototypes and production contributions and use AI coding and agentic tools to compress the distance between an idea and a working product.
- Own product quality: You will be accountable for whether shipped products work reliably, are simple to use, meet a high bar for correctness, security and compliance and create real customer and business value. You will define or oversee requirements precise enough to be tested, set acceptance criteria, challenge edge cases and failure modes and ensure that product quality is validated though world use.
